As aged care reforms transition services to Support at Home, we are strengthening our workforce structure and seeking a HR & Recruitment Coordinator to help build, support, and stabilise our growing support worker team.
Please note this role is in office 5 Days a week.
In this role you will:
This is a people-focused workforce coordination role supporting the recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and capability development of support workers within the Support at Home program.
You will work closely with the Operational Manager – Support at Home to ensure we recruit values-aligned staff, deliver strong onboarding experiences, maintain training compliance, and build a connected and confident workforce.
The role combines recruitment coordination, HR administration, training support, and workforce engagement activities. You will act as a consistent and approachable point of contact for support workers, helping strengthen retention, culture, and service quality.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment of support workers, including advertising, screening, interviews, reference checks, and pre-employment compliance
- Maintain a proactive workforce pipeline aligned to projected service growth
- Lead onboarding and induction processes to ensure new staff feel welcomed, prepared, and confident in their role
- Coordinate mandatory training and track completion of compliance requirements
- Support probation reviews, performance processes, and workforce documentation
- Maintain accurate HR records, contracts, and compliance files
- Act as a key point of contact for support workers, responding to queries and providing guidance
- Support initiatives that strengthen workforce engagement, wellbeing, and retention
- Collaborate with the Operational Manager to forecast workforce needs and support continuous improvement

In addition, you will need
- Experience in recruitment, HR coordination, workforce administration, or a similar role (aged care or community services preferred)
- Understanding of workforce compliance requirements (police checks, training records, contracts)
- Strong administrative and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR or workforce systems
- Ability to work collaboratively within a leadership team
- Full Australian work rights
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
- Experience in aged care, disability, or community services workforce coordination
- Familiarity with the Support at Home program or aged care reform environment
- Experience coordinating training programs or capability development initiatives
- Understanding of HR processes including probation, performance support, and documentation management
Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
