We are currently looking for an experienced GIS Analyst to provide the spatial intelligence that supports the development, design, construction and operation of renewable energy projects across Australia.
This role will work on a diverse portfolio of wind, solar and battery energy storage projects, delivering geospatial solutions that help teams make informed decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Deliver spatial analysis, mapping and site suitability assessments for renewable energy projects

Identify project opportunities, constraints and risks using a wide range of spatial datasets

Develop and maintain project geodatabases and spatial information systems

Create high-quality maps, reports and visualisations for technical and non-technical stakeholders,

Develop and support WebGIS applications, dashboards and mobile GIS solutions

Manage spatial data governance, QA/QC and metadata standards

Support project design, infrastructure layout development and construction planning

Build automated workflows using technologies such as FME, Python and ArcPy

Collaborate with development, engineering, environment, planning and project delivery teams
Required Skills and Competencies

Degree qualification in GIS, Geospatial Science, Geomatics or related discipline

Minimum 5 years' experience in a GIS or geospatial role

Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS Pro

Experience with ArcGIS Online, including web maps, dashboards, applications and mobile GIS workflows

Experience with FME or similar ETL/data integration tools

Strong spatial analysis, data management and QA/QC skills

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality outcomes within deadlines

Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, engineering, utilities or environmental sectors

Knowledge of planning, environmental, cadastral and land tenure datasets

Experience with LiDAR, aerial imagery and remote sensing

Python and ArcPy automation experience

Exposure to AutoCAD, Map 3D or Civil 3D
