The Manager ICT Governance key responsibilities are:
Provide effective inter and intra departmental liaison on behalf of the Chief Information Officer, with a range of stakeholders including Senior Executives and Ministerial offices, clients, external organisations and other government departments.
Coordinate and develop complex reports, submissions, proposals, audit responses and briefing notes requiring responses and contribute a strategic perspective where appropriate, on behalf of the Chief Information Officer and Senior Executives within the business.
Coordinate the Estimates process for the division, liaising with the office of the Director-General and other key Senior Executive offices within the departments to provide briefs and supporting documentation to Senior Executives of all supported agencies.
Coordinate and manage all ICT related internal and external audits, reports and responses in a timely manner, ensuring ongoing implementation and monitoring of all recommendations.
Obtain relevant advice and maintain liaison with key areas of the Department and external executive stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of policy and procedural matters referred for action.
Manage the provision of executive assistance and administration services to support the Chief Information.
Have a sound understanding and knowledge of, or the ability to gain an understanding of whole of government ICT frameworks and governance mechanisms, and Programs and Projects Management Frameworks and methodologies.
A holistic understanding of the business and how ICT provides critical support and services to meet the department's vision and government priorities.
Undertake complex ad-hoc research and provide high level communication of advice and analysis to the Chief Information Officer.
Build and maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders across the department and other government agencies ensuring effective governance.
