We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide community-based support to a male participant.
This role involves assisting the participant with social and community activities, appointments, and daily routines while encouraging independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the participant with community access
- Transporting the participant to appointments and activities
- Encouraging independence and social engagement
- Providing companionship and positive support
- Following care plans and completing shift notes
- Ensuring safety and maintaining professional boundaries
Essential Requirements:
- Must have a reliable car and a valid driver’s licence
- Ability to transport the participant safely and confidently
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and a calm, respectful approach
- Previous disability support experience is highly regarded
Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour
