About the role
As the Assistant Nursing Director, Outpatient Strategies, you will provide expert clinical leadership and strategic direction to support service transformation initiatives, programs and projects across Metro North Health. Reporting to the Nursing Director, Outpatient Strategies, you will work closely with nursing, allied health and medical leaders to design, implement and evaluate innovative outpatient models that improve access, efficiency and patient experience. This role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful change while influencing healthcare delivery at both organisational and system-wide levels.
About you

Facilitate practice of self and others in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
Undertake, and participate in ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
Accountable for managing effective and cost-efficient management of hospital resources and services within and available to HEI in collaboration with the Senior Director.
Practice collaboratively within the interprofessional healthcare team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
Participate in and manage the performance and development planning of self and staff reporting to the position.
