Service Technician – Access Equipment

About us
Geelong Access Hire is a growing access equipment hire company servicing Geelong and regional Victoria. We pride ourselves on reliability, safety, and high-quality equipment.
We are looking for a hands-on Service Technician to join our team and help maintain and service our fleet of access equipment.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repairs of our equipment, including:
- Scissor lifts
- Boom lifts
- Telehandlers
- Forklifts
- General plant and equipment
Work will be based in our yard and on-site across Geelong and surrounding regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
- Preparing machines for hire
- Attending breakdowns (on-site when required)
- Maintaining service records and compliance checks
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical experience (diesel, plant, forklifts, or similar)
- Ability to diagnose and problem-solve independently
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication skills
- Driver’s licence (truck licence highly regarded)
- EWP / forklift tickets (or willingness to obtain)
