THE OPPORTUNITY
PHE Mining is currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Electrical Engineer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. We encourage candidates from across Orange, Bathurst, and surrounding areas, as well as those willing to relocate, to apply.
The successful candidate will be allocated to one of our diverse projects and will be provided with guidance and mentorship to develop their skills and expertise.
In this role, you will:

Program engineering assistance and support.

Assist in estimating variation works and additional major scopes of work.

Be a technical resource for the project you are involved in, by being familiar with drawings, project specifications, standards, and other technical requirements.

Interact with and development of the subcontractor network.

Be a technical investigations and commissioning assistance as required.

Monitor, distribute and enter inspection test reports (ITR’s), provide assistance in reviewing ITR’s, generate and build new ITR test packs as required to assist in the delivery of Project quality objectives.

Enter data and test sheets into PIMS, monitor progress, and prepare reports.

Collate and construct electrical MDR.
ABOUT YOU:
The ideal candidate is a Qualified Electrical engineer and will possess:

Tertiary Qualification in electrical or electronics engineering.

1+ years experience as a graduate or cadet electrical engineer
-
Self-motivated with a desire to achieve objectives.

Good communications and analytical skills.

Broad theoretical job knowledge.

An ability to work effectively in, and contribute to the success of, a team of professionals.
