About the Role
The Contract Manager supports the Procurement and Contracts Management Team in tracking and maintaining systematic approaches to the acquisition of a variety of services to the Digital Platforms Division. The role will identify initiatives seeking continuous improvement in procurement and contract management practices and standards as well as ensuring the organisation complies with all relevant policies.
Key Accountabilities
Lead procurement projects and set direction for team delivery, including scoping work, allocating procurements to team members, and ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with organisational priorities.
Define and maximises value add and/or return of investment in business cases, contract terms, or service delivery agreements. Use broad understanding of procurement and finance concepts to inform expenditure decisions and manage risks.
Demonstrated leadership and people management capability, including line management of VPS 4 staff, mentoring team members, and fostering a high-performing, accountable, and collaborative procurement function.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following attributes:
High proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams.
