We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our busy venue in the heart of Barangaroo.

About the Role
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work alongside the Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team, ensure smooth daily operations, and maintain the high standards our guests have come to expect.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily management and operation of the restaurant
- Lead, motivate, and support the front-of-house team
- Deliver and maintain exceptional customer service standards
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff development
- Manage reservations, customer enquiries, and guest feedback professionally
- Prepare and manage staff rosters while monitoring labour costs
- Ensure compliance with RSA requirements, food safety standards, and company policies
- Maintain venue presentation and operational excellence
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and seamless service
About You
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for hospitality, food, wine, and guest satisfaction
- Ability to remain organised and perform well under pressure
- Current NSW RSA Certificate
- Sound understanding of restaurant operations, rostering, and cost management
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
