Sarah Redfern High School is a comprehensive co-educational secondary school proudly located on Dharawal Country in Minto, within the St Andrews Network. The Head Teacher Technology and Applied Studies will be an integral member of the Executive Team, working collaboratively to lead strategic school improvement initiatives and drive excellence in teaching, learning and wellbeing.

Demonstrated ability to lead the effective management of TAS facilities, resources and WHS requirements while promoting exemplary teaching and learning across the Technologies curriculum.
Proven capacity to lead and develop a collaborative, high-performing TAS faculty that fosters excellence in teaching, innovation and diverse student pathways.
Capacity to work strategically with the executive team to lead whole-school improvement initiatives that enhance student outcomes and achieve the School Excellence Plan.
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs
3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams
4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents
5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning
6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy
