About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Operational Excellence & COPQ (Cost Of Poor Quality) Transformation Specialist to join our committed team.
Reporting directly to our Chief Transformation Officer and indirectly to our Chief Manufacturing Officer, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence across all VENTORA Group manufacturing sites. Your focus will be accelerating the reduction of COPQ, supporting Transformation projects and preparing sites for scalable growth. This role is key in ensuring the readiness of Red List sites and ensuring that manufacturing processes are optimized to support business growth targets, including a 2x increase in in capacity.
Responsibilities include:

Drive COPQ Reduction Across Sites: Lead initiatives to identify, address, and reduce COPQ at each manufacturing site, fast-tracking reduction actions.

Support Transformation Projects: Provide operational support for the successful execution of Transformation Projects, aiming to modernize manufacturing processes and systems.

Red List Site Support: Work directly with Red List sites to build operational foundations and enhance manufacturing readiness for growth, ensuring these sites meet operational standards.

Enhance Manufacturing Efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements that reduce downtime, improve throughput, and optimize resource utilization across sites.

Leadership Support: Assist site leaders in improving operational performance, driving COPQ reduction, and supporting data-driven decision-making to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Operational Systems and Process Standardization: Work closely with local Operational Managers to develop and standardize operational systems, quality control, and inventory management processes across all sites.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and successful execution of operational goals, focusing on operational excellence, cost-saving initiatives, and continuous improvement.
About You
You will bring the following skills and experience:

Manufacturing Leadership: Extensive senior operational management experience with a track record of improving plant operations, driving site performance, driving manufacturing excellence and achieving performance targets in a multi-site environment.

COPQ Expertise: Proven track record in reducing COPQ and implementing strategies to improve product quality and profitability across manufacturing sites.

Operational Excellence: Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing, process optimization, and cost-saving initiatives to enhance operational performance.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across functions to drive transformation projects and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.

People Development: Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop operational leaders and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Results-Oriented: A focus on achieving measurable results and driving continuous improvement across all operational areas.

Time Management: Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and ensure deadlines are met.

Driver’s License: Hold a current unrestricted driver’s license to perform the requirements of the role.

Educational Qualification: A diploma or degree in a relevant discipline (business, engineering, manufacturing) or equivalent experience is preferred.
About the Benefits

Annual salary: $150,000 - $180,000 (depending on experience) + super.
