About us
The Unley Swimming Centre is a leading outdoor swimming facility located in Forestville. Proudly owned and operated by the City of Unley for residents and the wider metropolitan area, the facility consists of an 8-lane heated 50m pool, junior pool, toddlers pool, shaded lawns, café and operates an extended season for 9 months of the year.
About the role
We are seeking a casual Group Fitness (Aquarobics) Instructor to deliver engaging aquarobics classes to a wide range of ages in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment, supporting the health and wellbeing of our community. Applicants must be prepared to work in an environment with an expectation of high-level customer service satisfaction.
Availability Requirements
Applicants must be available for a minimum of three of the following sessions:
- Tuesday 6:15am
- Tuesday 6:30pm
- Wednesday 12:15pm
- Thursday 6:15am
- Thursday 10:15am
- Saturday 11:15am
Essential Requirements
- Current Group Fitness Certification (Aquarobics)
- Current Provide First Aid Certification
- Current Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check
- Current Reporting Harm, Abuse and Neglect Certification
- Availability to work a minimum of three shifts per week
Desirable Attributes / Qualifications
- Ability to work across multiple areas within the centre
- Current Pool Lifeguard Award certification
- Current AUSTSWIM (or equivalent) Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certification
- Additional Group Fitness or Personal Training certifications
