We are currently seeking an experienced, knowledgeable and highly capable Childcare Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor to join our team.
We are looking for someone with a strong and thorough understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations in NSW, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to confidently manage all aspects of centre operations, compliance and team management.
This role requires someone who can step in and run the centre as if it were their own, whether management is onsite or not. We need a strong leader who takes ownership, maintains high standards at all times and can support the team through both everyday operations and high-pressure situations.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Childcare Centre Director
- Extensive knowledge of childcare compliance, policies, procedures and regulations in NSW
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and people skills with families, staff and management
- Ability to handle pressure professionally and remain solution-focused
- Ability to meet deadlines and follow through on tasks efficiently
- High level experience using OWNA and childcare management systems
- Confidence managing staffing, documentation, incidents, CCS and day-to-day operations
- Flexible availability and willingness to work varying hours when required to support the needs of the service
- A strong work ethic, accountability and genuine passion for childcare
- Tertiary qualification required for this position
- Current NSW Working with Children Check is required
- Australian citizenship is required for this position
