Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Allied Health Manager to lead Allied Health Services at both the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital (SCUPH) and support the development of future offsite rehabilitation and outpatient services. In this pivotal leadership role, you will form part of the hospital’s clinical leadership team, overseeing the delivery of safe, high-quality and efficient Allied Health care across acute medical, surgical and rehabilitation settings.
Alongside your SCUPH role, you will help develop and implement rehabilitation, outpatient and community-based services from Caloundra Private Hospital. This will include building referral pipelines and integrated care pathways that support SCUPH patients pre- and post-admission, strengthening continuity of care between the two facilities.
Key responsibilities will include strategic planning, clinical governance, implementation and evaluation of clinical practices and processes, quality improvement, commercial oversight, and mentoring and specialist support for a large multidisciplinary team. You will work collaboratively with hospital managers and executive teams across both settings to achieve excellence in care delivery.
Your Skills and Experience
This position requires an experienced Allied Health Professional with strong clinical and leadership capability. To be successful, you will be able to lead a multidisciplinary team, communicate effectively, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, apply a growth mindset and work to tight deadlines.
You will have:

Current AHPRA registration, or registration with a relevant professional body, e.g. ESSA.

Minimum five years’ clinical experience, with private hospital or private practice experience highly regarded.

Recent rehabilitation experience is preferred, but not essential.

Postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.
