About the Role
As a Crane Truck Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe transport and unloading of building materials across Sydney. You'll operate a well-maintained crane truck, represent our business professionally on-site, and work independently while maintaining the highest safety standards.
This is a full-time position, with work typically ranging between 50–60 hours per week, depending on workload. Overtime is available.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a modern crane truck throughout Sydney and occasional regional NSW.
- Load, transport and unload building materials using the vehicle-mounted crane.
- Secure loads in accordance with NHVR load restraint requirements.
- Complete daily pre-start inspections and maintain the truck and crane in a clean, professional condition.
- Provide excellent customer service at pickup and delivery locations.
- Complete delivery documentation and communicate effectively throughout the day.
- Work safely while following company procedures and all relevant road transport regulations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Current HR Driver Licence (minimum).
- High Risk Work Licence – Vehicle Loading Crane (CV).
- Experience operating truck-mounted cranes (preferred).
- Sound knowledge of load restraint and transport safety.
- White Card (preferred).
- The ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently.
- A strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a professional attitude.
- A commitment to safety, reliability and customer service.
- Clean driving record with a safe driving history.
- Ability to pass a National Police Check (no relevant criminal convictions).
