We are looking for reliable, caring and motivated Support Workers to join our growing team. Supporting participant all around melbourne, south east, eastern and surroundings.
We are seeking workers who are passionate about supporting people with disabilities to build independence, participate in the community and achieve their individual goals.
About the role:
- Providing 1:1 support in the home and community
- Community access and social activities
- Assistance with daily living and personal care where required
- Supporting participants with routines and independence
- Transporting participants to appointments and activities
- Completing clear and accurate shift notes
- Following individual support plans and behaviour support strategies
- Working collaboratively with participants, families and the team
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, patient and genuinely enjoys supporting others
- Has good communication skills
- Can work independently and use initiative
- Is professional and respectful of participant choice and dignity
- Is flexible with availability, including weekdays, evenings and weekends
Requirements:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check where applicable
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Valid Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
- Relevant disability/community services experience preferred
- Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability or similar is desirable
