The primary purpose of the Food and Beverage Attendant is to deliver service at the Gallery's commercial F&B outlets and functions, including cocktail events, formal dinners, weddings, and exhibition openings. The Food and Beverage Attendant is responsible for the smooth execution of customer service, including communicating with kitchen and event teams, and ensuring a positive and satisfying client experience.
A person in this role must also be organised and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment. Shifts vary across seven days and include weekends and evenings. Attendants must be able to carry out duties assigned by their supervisors and the Food and Beverage team at the Gallery.
Hours available for this position fluctuate based on a number of variables including busy functions sesaons, school holidays, Gallery schedules, etc.
This position is well suited to uni students and young professionals, who are looking for flexibilty and variety in their work and availability.
To be eligible for appointment to this position, you must hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement of Attainment.
