About the Role: As an Occupattion Therapist, you will report to the Care Services Manager. We are looking for a compassionate and qualified candidate who is dedicated to improving the lives of our clients. This is a casual role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducting functional and occupational therapy assessments.
- Developing and reviewing individualised treatment and intervention plans.
- Assessing clients' ability to perform daily activities and identifying areas requiring support.
- Recommending appropriate equipment, assistive technology and modifications.
- Supporting falls prevention, mobility and functional independence.
- Providing advice and education to clients, families, carers and support staff.
- Working collaboratively with nurses, support workers and other allied health professionals.
- Completing accurate clinical documentation, reports and care plans.
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and care planning where required.
- Monitoring and reviewing client progress and adjusting interventions as required.
- Ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with professional standards and organisational requirements.
HEALTH AND SAFETY:
- Comply with all Work Health and Safety legislation requirements
- Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe working environment
- Report any hazards or incidents immediately to management
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree or recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience in aged care, disability, rehabilitation or community settings is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good clinical reasoning, assessment and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to complete clear and accurate clinical documentation.
- Current Australian working rights.
- Current First Aid certificate
- Valid National Police Clearance
- Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
