The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking a Key Account Manager to join our Builders and Construction & Demolition (C&D) portfolio, based in Keysborough, VIC. Managing a strategic portfolio of builder customers across Victoria, you will build and grow existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities within the market.
This is a relationship-led, field-based role, working with medium to high volume builders and engaging with stakeholders from procurement and construction management through to senior decision-makers. You’ll spend time with customers on site and across metropolitan and regional Victoria, developing account plans, identifying opportunities and delivering solutions that support long-term growth.
This role would suit a proactive and commercially minded account management or sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing new business and working with a high level of autonomy.

What you'll be responsible for
Manage and grow a strategic portfolio of builder and C&D customers across Victoria
Identify and secure new business opportunities, targeting builders not currently partnering with Veolia
Build trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders, including procurement, construction and senior management
Develop and execute 3, 6 and 12-month account plans to drive retention and growth
Conduct regular customer and site visits across metropolitan and regional Victoria
Partner with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that leverage Veolia's broader capabilities
Ensure customer commitments, service levels and contractual obligations are consistently achieved
Maintain customer and sales activity through Salesforce/CRM systems
What you'll need to be successful
Demonstrated experience in account management, sales or business development
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels
Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities
Proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
Strong planning, organisation and time-management skills
CRM experience desirable, with Salesforce experience advantageous
Experience within construction, building, waste or a related industry highly regarded
Willingness to travel across metropolitan and regional Victoria, including occasional overnight stays
Current driver's licence
