RTC – Rejuvenation Treatment Centre, established in 2012 and located in Ballarat, Victoria, is seeking an experienced Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team.
This is a full-time, ongoing position, with the successful candidate working 38 hours per week.
Requirements:
- Experienced Remedial Massage Therapist with at least 2 years working experience
- A diploma in Remedial Massage is needed
- Strong communication skills
- Must be registered with an association and able to obtain Private Health Insurance provider numbers
- Individual professional insurance
Role and Responsiblility:
- Assess clients’ physical conditions and case histories to identify specific soft tissue dysfunctions, musculoskeletal conditions and treatment needs.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on clients’ physical conditions, symptoms, case histories and therapeutic requirements.
- Administer a range of remedial and therapeutic massage techniques to treat soft tissue dysfunction, relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, promote relaxation and support recovery.
- Monitor clients’ responses to treatment and provide advice on post-treatment care, stretching exercises, relaxation techniques and ongoing management of soft tissue conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including assessments, treatment plans, treatments provided and clients’ progress.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic and safe treatment environment in accordance with relevant workplace health and safety and infection-control requirements.
- Contribute to the day-to-day operation of the clinic, including client service, stock and inventory management, opening and closing procedures, and implementation of workplace policies and procedures.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
