About the role:
As Service Quality Controller at our Arundel Commercial Centre, you sit at the heart of the service operation, making sure every vehicle leaving the workshop meets the standard customers expect and the team is proud of.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Conducting quality checks on completed vehicle services and repairs, giving you full visibility over the workshop's output
- Road-testing vehicles to verify work has been carried out correctly, adding a hands-on element to your day
- Identifying any missed or incomplete work before a vehicle reaches the customer, allowing the team to resolve issues on the spot
- Collaborating with technicians and service advisors to maintain clear communication across the workshop floor
- Contributing to a culture where quality is everyone's responsibility, not just a final checkpoint
About You:
You bring a careful eye, solid technical grounding, and a genuine commitment to getting things right the first time.
More about you:
- A current Queensland driver's licence is essential, including the ability to drive manual vehicles
- Trade qualification or hands-on mechanical experience means you understand what good work looks like
- Strong attention to detail comes naturally to you, whether you are checking a service checklist or listening to how an engine sounds on a test drive
- Working within a dealership or automotive service environment has given you confidence in a workshop setting
- Clear, respectful communication helps you raise concerns constructively with technicians and service staff
