ASSEMBLER
The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacture, assembly and finishing of high custom cabinetry for residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construction and assembly of cabinet components, ensuring that all pieces fit the dimensions specified by the foreman and client
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Check components for quality, fit and finish
- Work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed to schedule
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace
INSTALLER
This role requires the successful applicants to have previous experience in Cabinet Making and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake Cabinet / Kitchen Installation on residential and commercial projects.
- Work as part of a team of other installers to achieve great site outcomes.
- Read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Liaise with Project Manager and Site Supervisors to achieve outcomes while maintaining great relationships.
- Work on multiple projects and ensure time delivery of results.
- Offer support and assistance to your broader team, while contributing to process improvements and quality outcomes.
- Be able to deliver a positive site presence with great customer service to our customers.
About You
· A minimum of 1 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker
· Excellent attention to detail and understanding of quality standards.
· Have great communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Knowledge and understanding of Cabinet Making along with formal qualifications.
· Driver’s License and White Card.
· Excellent health with a capacity to perform manual work.
· Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
· Ability to adhere to OHS regulations
· High levels of self-motivation as well as the ability to work well in a team environment and independently
· Excellent problem solving and time management skills
· Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa
· A forklift licence will be highly regarded but not essential
