Gym Manager – Essendon Area
We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Gym Manager to lead day-to-day operations at a premium fitness facility in the Essendon area. This is a full-time role with a company car included.

The Role
As Gym Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the club, leading staff, driving member retention, and helping deliver an outstanding member experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily gym operations, presentation, and member experience
- Recruit, train, and manage front desk and personal training staff
- Drive membership sales and retention strategies
- Manage rosters, stock, and supplier relationships
- Handle member enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
- Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained
- Report on KPIs including membership numbers, revenue, and churn
- Support marketing and community events run through the gym
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience managing a gym, fitness centre, or similar service business
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Sales and customer service experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A valid driver's licence
- Passion for fitness, health, and wellness
