We are seeking a reliable and motivated Technician / Driver to join our busy truck dealership and workshop. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with trucks, takes pride in presenting vehicles to a high standard, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect trucks from customers, suppliers, and service providers.
- Move and park trucks safely around the dealership and workshop.
- Complete pre-delivery inspections and basic vehicle checks.
- Check fluid levels, tyre pressures, lights, batteries, and other basic vehicle systems.
- Assist with fitting accessories and completing minor repairs.
- Wash, clean, and prepare trucks for sale and customer delivery.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop and yard.
- Complete vehicle handover documentation and delivery paperwork accurately.
- Assist workshop technicians and other team members as required.
- Provide friendly, professional, and courteous customer service at all times.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold a current Australian driver's licence.
- Hold a Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) licence (preferred).
- Have a safe driving record and be confident operating heavy vehicles.
- Possess practical mechanical or automotive knowledge.
- Be reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
- Take pride in presenting vehicles to a high standard.
- Be physically fit and able to safely perform manual and outdoor work.
- Able to supply your own tool
- Previous experience in a truck dealership, transport yard, or workshop will be highly regarded.
- Trade Qualified in Certificate III or IV in Automotive / Mechanical – Heavy Vehicle
