Casual Event & Hospitality Assistant
We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable and professional Event Waitstaff to join our growing team. If you're friendly, energetic and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!
This is a casual position, with shifts offered based on event bookings and business demand. There is an opportunity for the right candidate to progress into a permanent role as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
As part of our events team, your duties may include:
- Welcoming and assisting guests upon arrival.
- Escorting guests to their seats when required.
- Serving food and beverages professionally.
- Pouring drinks and providing table service.
- Assisting with buffet and food service arrangements.
- Monitoring guest areas and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the event.
- Supporting the event team to ensure events run smoothly and efficiently.
- Assisting with event setup, pack down & pack up of venue.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and presentable venue throughout the event.
- Working alongside the event coordinator and other team members to create a memorable guest experience.

Experience
The following are preferred but not essential:
- Previous experience in hospitality, events or customer service.
- A hospitality or events-related qualification or certificate.
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.

We value attitude, reliability and willingness to learn above experience, and training will be provided to the right candidates.
Availability
Applicants should be available to work:
- Evening and night shifts.
- Weekends.
- Late nights when required.
- Public holidays, depending on event bookings.
As this is a casual position, the number of shifts available will vary depending on our event schedule.
This role is perfect for students or anyone looking for an after-hours job or additional income alongside another position.
Requirements
Successful applicants must:
- Hold a valid Australian Driver's Licence.
- Have reliable transport to and from event locations.
- Be comfortable working flexible hours.
- Be well-groomed, professional and maintain a clean, polished appearance.
- Provide a current Police Clearance prior to commencing employment
Please note that our events are held at various venues across Perth and surrounding areas, depending on bookings. Staff must be willing to travel to different event locations as required. Full event details will be provided prior to each shift.
