Rosie's Fish & Chips, a small family run business is looking for 1 or 2 more experienced Chefs to join our growing kitchen team. Our shop is located by Sharky's Beach, Coledale - 25mins north of Wollongong.
the roles we are looking to fill are :
- Weekend Casual Chef (1-2 ongoing shifts each week)
Great hours (no late nights) shifts are usually between the hours of 9am - 8pm. We can offer full day shifts (10hrs with break / food) or half day shifts (6hrs) - Saturday & Sunday casual hourly rates paid.
- Full time CDP or Junior Sous - this would suit a trade focused chef who is wanting to learn and hone in on their skills and development within an established kitchen.
We work with fresh seasonal fish and seafood, have established great relationships with local fisherman / suppliers and pride ourselves on making everything in-house. From filleting fresh fish, processing hand cut chips, we cook all menu items fresh to order. Everything fried is cooked in Beef Dripping/Tallow. The role would suit someone who has experience or enjoys cooking to order on the grill and/or fryer.
You will be working alongside our Head Chef Ben Sinfield - ex. St. John (London), Ester (Syd)
