This cafe (Chapman Coffee House, Wyong NSW) has a great reputation and a very loyal customer base attracting customers from all walks of life. The coffee shop is casual and above all promotes a fun environment - whether you're a customer or someone that works here. We cook healthy and tasty food suited to all people and try to meet all preferences. We need someone that can fit into our philosophy of making sure people that come to our shop leave that little bit happier and more satisfied and are made to feel a part of our inclusive culture.
About the role
We're looking for a cook that has minimum 3 years experience and can make sure our customers enjoy a delicious meal. This position will suit a multi tasker who can think on their feet, enjoys a fast pace, but can also bring their fun personality to work. This position requires cooking skills and will need to make meals to order. The menu is currently all day breakfast and a lunch menu. The chef will also need to be able to assist in writing and costing menus as well as ordering and maintaining the cleaning standards of the kitchen. The candidate will need a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
Benefits and perks
The cafe currently does breakfast and lunch only so provides a great work/life balance as you will finish reasonably early in the day. We are looking for someone that can fit into our energetic team and can do 38 hours per week. Weekends are a must.
Skills and experience
We need someone that has some previous chef experience as it is a small kitchen. The successful candidate needs to be able to manage stock and ordering as well as following food safety guidelines.
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
