As a Clinical Nurse - Infection Prevention and Control, you'll play a vital role in strengthening safety and quality across healthcare settings, supporting better outcomes for patients and communities. From guiding clinical practice to driving service improvements, you'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to embed evidence-based care and build capability across the health service.

Leading infection prevention initiatives that enhance safety and reduce risk across clinical environments
Partnering with teams to influence decision-making and embed best practice standards
Using data insights to monitor trends, strengthen reporting, and improve patient outcomes
Supporting education, mentoring, and continuous improvement to build confident, capable teams

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with professional practice certification
Strong clinical experience in infection prevention and control with evidence-based practice skills
Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Advanced communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field and/or experience in clinical auditing, surveillance, or quality improvement initiatives.
