We are seeking experienced and qualified Disability Support Workers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities. As part of our team, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes and within the community, ensuring their well-being, independence, and individual needs remain a priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities, including personal care, hygiene, and dressing.
- Support with meal preparation, housework, and general domestic tasks.
- Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, and social activities.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Implement Behaviour Support Plans and follow routines set by Allied Health Teams.
- Maintain client safety, independence, and dignity at all times.
What We Are Looking For:
- Compassionate, energetic, and proactive individuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience supporting clients who present with behaviours of concern
- Experience working with individuals with Autism, psychosocial disabilities, or complex behaviours (desirable).
- Physically fit and able to assist clients with mobility needs.
- Reliable, adaptable, and committed to high-quality support.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the disability and/or community services sector
- Current Driver’s Licence.
- Victorian Working with Children’s Check.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Disability (or equivalent).
