The Role
Cardinal Contractors are offering a full-time position for a Multi Combination Driver experienced in heavy haulage, double watercarts and side tippers to work at our Telfer operations in the Pilbara.
Currently on offer are 2:1 rosters, day shift only, FIFO departing from Perth.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience with double watercarts, side tippers and heavy haulage
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential
- Experience operating 50t to 100t floats - advantageous
- Inspecting truck for mechanical items and safety issues
- Maintain internal and external truck cleanliness
- Complete all Cardinal Contractors paperwork and all other necessary paperwork to comply with any relevant regulation or statutory requirement
- Complete activity logs and records in line with Department of Transport regulations
- Comply with laws on commercial vehicle operation as per Federal, State and local authorities
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge and practical application of Workplace OH&S
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment medical as well as drug and alcohol screen
- Must have current National Police Clearance
- Hold a valid white card or equivalent
