About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive nursing care and supporting patient wellbeing. You’ll be working closely with GPs, and administrative staff in a collaborative setting that values clinical autonomy and team input.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Providing general and preventative nursing care including immunisations, wound management, and chronic disease support
- Performing health assessments and care plans
- Assisting with minor procedures and treatment room duties
- Vaccinations, antenatal care, pathology collection and coordination
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Educating patients on health promotion and medication management
- Supporting clinical audits, infection control, and accreditation processes
- Collaborating effectively with the broader clinical team
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience in general practice essential
- Previous experience with Best Practice Software (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong focus on patient-centred care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Immunisation certification
