Casa Nova is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Front of House Team Leader to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior waitstaff member, supervisor or experienced hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, delivering exceptional guest experiences and helping busy restaurant services run smoothly.
We are open to both part-time and full-time applicants. We are looking for someone who is confident on the floor, positive with customers and capable of taking responsibility during service.
About the role
As a Team Leader, you will help lead daily front-of-house operations and support the team to deliver consistent service standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting the front-of-house team during service.
- Welcoming guests and ensuring a friendly, professional dining experience.
- Allocating sections, coordinating staff and keeping service organised.
- Training and coaching team members on service standards and procedures.
- Handling customer feedback and resolving issues calmly and professionally.
- Supporting opening, closing, cash-handling and daily operational procedures.
- Communicating effectively with the kitchen, management and wider team.
- Maintaining food safety, cleanliness, presentation and workplace safety standards.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, café, bar or hospitality environment.
- Supervisory, team leader or senior waitstaff experience.
- Strong communication and people-management skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to remain calm during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and a professional presentation.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- The legal right to work in Australia.
A current RSA certificate is required .Experience with Italian dining, reservations systems, POS systems, events or multi-site restaurant operations will be highly regarded.

Pay: $27.97 – $41.00 per hour
