Purpose
Serve as the primary point of contact between Council and its customers, delivering professional, efficient, and friendly service for face-to-face and telephone enquiries. Ensure accurate recordkeeping and financial reconciliations in compliance with Council policies and State Records Legislation. Support Council functions through effective coordination of bookings and administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of Council’s activities and services.

Essential requirements
- Developed interpersonal skills combined with the ability to communicate with the public.
- Experience in complying with records, information, and knowledge management systems.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work in a small team environment and to provide effective support to the activities of other staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and recognise sensitive issues.
Desirable requirements
- Class C driver’s licence.
- Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent.
