Sydney North Shore Nannies was established in 2016 to provide local families with trustworthy and reliable childcare. Since its inception, Sydney North Shore Nannies has worked with over 600 families assisting in finding them their perfect nanny.
About the role
Sydney North Shore Nannies is partnering with a local family based in Roseville. They have two children, aged 2 and 4 and are seeking a kind and capable nanny/mothers’ helper to assist with the day-to-day rhythm of the household. This family is seeking a minimum 12-month commitment.
The successful candidate will work:
Monday and Tuesday: 7:30am to 6:30pm
Wednesday to Friday: 3pm to 7pm
* Note this role can be separated to cover Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday-Friday. Please advise your preference when applying.
This role will see you:
- Assisting with morning routines, breakfast and daycare/kindergarten drop-offs.
- Collecting children from daycare/kindergarten, bath time and evening routines.
- Dinner preparation and preparing simple meals for the children.
- Participating in outings, ensuring the children are engaged and safe.
- Engaging in educational play and activities.
- Keeping children’s spaces organised and tidy (bedrooms and play areas, organising toys)
- Completing children’s laundry.
Role requirements
You will be a great fit if you are kind, proactive, and genuinely passionate about working with young children and supporting their development.
You will also need:
- Demonstrated experience in both early childhood education and private nannying caring for multiple children/siblings at one time.
- The ability to navigate toddler behaviour with ease and confidence.
- Warmth and engaging demeanour who can connect with children.
- Holds an unrestricted driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Police check and working with children’s check.
- A current Provide First Aid and CPR certificate.
- Two recent child-related references.
