Sippenham is a 20-seat neighbourhood pasta and wine bar in Sydenham, focused on handmade pasta, seasonal produce and warm, relaxed hospitality.
We’re looking for a reliable Casual Kitchen Hand who is happy to jump between dishwashing, cleaning and basic food preparation to help keep our small kitchen running smoothly.
About the role
- Casual position, approximately 10 hours per week
- Mostly evening shifts, with occasional daytime prep
- Dishwashing and maintaining a clean kitchen
- Basic food preparation including vegetables, herbs, sauces and other mise en place
- Assisting the chefs with general kitchen tasks
- Following food safety and cleanliness standards
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous kitchen hand experience
- Has some basic prep experience in a commercial kitchen
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Takes pride in cleanliness and organisation
- Is reliable, punctual and enjoys being part of a close-knit team
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
