We are looking for highly experienced Senior Structural Engineers to lead and work on a variety of exciting domestic and international projects from our Australian-based offices. You will be responsible for:
- Executing structural designs that adhere to design and client specifications and standards;
- Collaborating across disciplines with engineers, designers, architects and other stakeholders to develop and refine designs;
- Providing technical expertise throughout the design phase, including calculations, modelling and documentation;
- Ensuring all designs are QA compliant and meet company policies and relevant Australian Standards;
- Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, reports and drawings;
- Liaising with clients, contractors and suppliers to ensure design requirements are met.
- 10+ years experience as a consulting engineer in Australia;
- Very good communication and relationship-building skills;
- The ability to see your design fully realised via detailed calculations, & sketches, drawings & reporting;
- Experience with concrete, steel and timber structures;
- Experience with concrete water-retaining structures highly desirable;
- Small team experience & mentoring skills;
- Ability to work autonomously to deliver project outcomes.
