We are seeking Diesel Motor Mechanics to join our operations team in Brisbane at our Archerfield Head Office and Manufacturing Facility.
About the Role:
We are currently seeking Diesel Motor Mechanics with mechanical qualifications for on and offsite servicing, fault finding repairs and maintenance of customer owned and rental fleet equipment. The equipment is predominantly diesel and gas generators but can also include hydraulic power units and compressors. Previous experience working on these types of equipment not essential. Training will be provided.
This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday) working 40hrs per week with 2hrs accruing to a Rostered Day Off (RDO) every 4 weeks.
This role is based in Archerfield Queensland.
The annual salary is $75,000-$85,000 per annum (exclusive of super).
In this position you will get to engage with:
· Great service team
· Preparation/servicing of equipment prior to dispatch
· Monthly onsite service runs/check overs
· Diesel and gas generator preventative maintenance work
· Overhaul of diesel and gas engines
· Accurate and comprehensive service reporting for tasks completed
· Ability to travel and work away from home
As the ideal candidate, you will possess the following key skills:
· A relevant mechanical trade qualification (Diesel Motor Mechanic)
· Able to cope with and adapt to change and open to new ideas
· Excellent communication and time management skills
· Work well in a team and able to work independently
· Field service experience desired but not required
· Experience maintaining service records and conducting routine inspections
· Safety conscious approach to work
· Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously
