We’re looking for a Small Animal Veterinarian to join our friendly, supportive and down-to-earth team in Hendra.
Our purpose-built clinic reopened in August 2024, and we’ve loved becoming part of the local community. About the Clinic
Our modern, purpose-built facility has been designed to support high-quality patient care and includes:
5 spacious consult rooms
2 fully equipped surgical theatres
Large treatment area
Dedicated isolation ward
Separate cat ward
ICU and HCU facilities
DR X-ray and dental X-ray
MyLab ultrasound
In-house IDEXX laboratory
Tonometry and extensive in-house equipment

About You
We’re looking for a veterinarian who is:
Qualified and registered to practise in Queensland
Ideally 3–5 years’ experience in small animal practice, although confident recent graduates are welcome to apply
Passionate about providing high-quality patient and client care
A strong communicator and team player
Enthusiastic about learning, developing and growing clinically
Adaptable, positive and keen to contribute to a fun team culture
Someone who enjoys building long-term relationships with clients and their pets
An interest in abdominal ultrasonography would be a bonus. Our Lead Clinician has extensive ultrasound experience, and the wider team is currently undertaking further education and training in this area.
Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with flexible hours to support the right person.
