Delivery Driver – Queensland
We are looking for a reliable and professional delivery driver to join our delivery operation in Queensland, working through a subcontracting arrangement with Bonds Group.
About the role
This is a regular weekday delivery opportunity, generally operating Monday to Friday. Delivery runs typically start in the morning, with finish times varying depending on the day’s workload and delivery requirements.
The role involves completing scheduled deliveries safely, efficiently and professionally while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Complete scheduled deliveries safely and on time
- Load and transport parcels and goods
- Follow delivery procedures and operational requirements
- Use delivery systems and maintain accurate delivery records
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Take reasonable care of the vehicle and equipment used for the work
- Follow all road safety and workplace health and safety requirements
- Maintain a professional standard when representing the delivery operation
About you
The ideal applicant will:
- Hold a current Australian driver’s licence
- Have a safe driving history
- Be reliable, punctual and responsible
- Have good communication and customer service skills
- Be comfortable working independently
- Be physically capable of performing delivery work
- Have availability Monday to Friday
- Be available to start in the morning and work through the afternoon or evening as required
Previous delivery or courier experience is preferred, but suitable applicants without previous delivery experience may also be considered.
Vehicle & expenses
A vehicle may be available as part of the agreed arrangement. Vehicle arrangements, fuel responsibilities and other operating costs will be clearly discussed with shortlisted applicants before any engagement begins.
Earnings
Indicative weekly earnings are $900–$1,300, depending on delivery volume and days worked. Actual earnings may vary and are not guaranteed.
Subcontractor arrangement
The opportunity is offered as a subcontracting arrangement, subject to the applicable agreement and Australian workplace laws and requirements. The commercial terms and conditions of the arrangement will be discussed with suitable applicants before commencement.
