We're excited to welcome a Social Worker / Occupational Therapist / Psychologist - Mental Health Clinician to our Continuing Care Team South (CCT) within Mental Health and Specialised Services.
The Continuing Care Team South offer a free and confidential service specialising in the treatment of people 18 years and over who are affected by mental illness and who would benefit from a multidisciplinary service due to the intensive or complex nature of the care required. Clinicians within allied health work as a team to meet clinical demand in keeping with Clinical Prioritisation Document. Staff will be required to work across other clinical services and facilities within Mental Health and Specialised Services as required to assist in meeting patient care needs, managing leave cover, and succession planning of staff. Staff at HP3 level will be required to rotate across Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service as per Allied Health Rotation Guidelines (with some exceptions).
Key Responsiblities:
Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in the provision of either Social Work / Occupational Therapy / Psychology services commensurate with level of experience in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, existing evidence-based practice and established clinical protocols.
Maintain appropriate documentation and patient records in line with Departmental, Unit and Health Service procedures, and contribute to the maintenance of accurate and timely information systems (statistics collection, quality data).
Participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient/client care, including the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the work environment.
Comprising salary between $39.86 - $60.43 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Fixed term temporary part-times positions available for up to 12months).
