About the Role:
This is a Full-Time, ongoing at 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE) within the Medical Imaging Department. We are seeking a highly enthusiastic, team oriented and experienced Administrator to join the Clerical Team. You will be responsible for the coordination and management of patient bookings for Medical Imaging including X-Ray, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Magnetic Resonance Positron Emission Tomography (MR PET).
Internally, this position will be referred to and known as: Administration Officer - Medical Imaging.
The role is classified at AO21 (Grade 2, Level 1) to AO25 (Grade 2, Level 5), ($66,768 - $73,811.92) governed by Award 10 - Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025.
What you'll achieve:

You will work as part of a clerical team that rotates through front reception and a back-of-house clerical office

You will make patient bookings and complete general administrative tasks to ensure timely access to medical care of RCH patients.

You will answer telephone and email enquiries

You will distribute reports and imaging to external referring clinicians

You will electronically import and export imaging
Your skills and experience:
-
Experience using health computer applications including referral management systems, electronic medical records and patient demographic systems

Demonstrated experience in a dynamic, fast-paced administration role preferably within the health sector

Demonstrated commitment to providing quality service to patients and families
