Your Team
The Director, AI Solution Patterns & Applied Engineering is part of CFS’s AI and Data business unit which is accountable for CFS’s Data and AI strategy, governance, platforms and enablement.
As Director, AI Solution Patterns & Applied Engineering, you will be responsible for owing the engineering patterns, standards and reusable capabilities that turn AI strategy into scalable delivery.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise AI reference architectures, reusable solution patterns and shared AI capabilities.
- Partner with engineering teams to embed AI standards, reusable components and best-practice delivery approaches.
- Lead the adoption of AI across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), improving developer productivity, testing and automation.
- Establish engineering standards for AI applications, AI agents, prompt engineering and RAG solutions.
- Build and maintain enterprise agent frameworks, libraries and reusable assets that accelerate delivery.
- Define approaches for agent orchestration, evaluation, testing, monitoring and observability.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching and guidance to engineering and delivery teams.
Support strategic initiatives through solution design, technical problem solving and AI engineering expertise.

Your Capability and Experience
- Extensive software engineering and delivery experience within large enterprise environments, including cloud-native application development on Azure and/or AWS.
- Proven experience delivering production AI, GenAI or agent-based solutions, with hands-on experience across enterprise AI platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience embedding AI across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, evaluation
- Experience establishing AI engineering standards, reusable frameworks, reference implementations and delivery patterns that accelerate enterprise-wide adoption.
- Strong stakeholder engagement across delivery, engineering and architecture teams.
- Proven ability to bridge architecture and delivery, scaling enterprise AI capabilities and embedding AI across the SDLC.
Experience industrialising AI delivery through reusable platforms, frameworks, and patterns that accelerate adoption and reduce duplication across the enterprise.
