Sydney Uni Sport is seeking enthusiastic and engaging casual coaches to join our
School Holiday Programs team, based at the University of Sydney’s Cumberland
Campus.
Our Multi-Sport Camp provides primary school-aged children with the opportunity to
participate in a range of sports and recreational activities in a fun, inclusive and safe
environment. Coaches will help deliver engaging sessions that encourage children to
learn new skills, stay active and build confidence through sport.
Position Details
- Casual opportunities during the September/October Spring school holiday
period
- Hours generally between 8:00am – 3:30pm
- Competitive hourly rate: $30 – $35 per hour depending on experience and
qualifications
- Opportunities across a variety of sports and activities
Essential Skills & Experience
- Current Working With Children Check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deliver engaging sessions and adapt activities to different ages and
abilities
- Ability to supervise children safely and professionally
- Reliable, organised and professional approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, young people and parents
- Commitment to child safety, inclusion and safe sport practices
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Coaching, sport, recreation and/or PE teaching qualifications
- Experience coaching children and young people in school holiday programs
