Mansfield Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and community focused individual to take up the role of Youth and Events Officer. The successful candidate will support Council’s Events Program and Youth Events team to deliver project outcomes for young people and the wider community.
Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Economic Development, the role also includes supporting the events and youth team in relation to delivering bushfire impact related projects and events for damaged assets managed by or owned by Council as a result of January 2026 Bushfires in Victoria, and activities relating to AGRN 1242.
This is an ongoing position with an exciting initial focus on bushfire recovery. For the first 18 months, the role will be funded through a bushfire recovery grant and support recovery initiatives within the Economic Development department. Following the grant-funded period, the position will transition to its core Youth and Events Officer responsibilities.
Remuneration will be based on Band 5 Level A classification $76,917.88 per annum plus ($38.9261 per hour), plus superannuation according to the Mansfield Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2024.
