About the school
Bwgcolman Community School is a vibrant Kindergarten to Year 12 Partnership Initiative (PI) school located on beautiful Palm Island, just 65 kilometres north-northwest of Townsville within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. With approximately 370 students across State Delivered Kindergarten, primary and secondary phases of learning, our school is deeply committed to ensuring every young person experiences success through high expectations, strong relationships and culturally responsive practice.
As a Partnership Initiative school, Bwgcolman Community School receives targeted support and resourcing to deliver locally responsive, flexible and innovative approaches that are co-designed with community. Lead a high-performing team to deliver strong educational and wellbeing outcomes for Palm Island students.
