We are looking for a skilled and reliable Licensed Electrician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrician who enjoys residential construction, takes pride in their work and wants to build a long-term career with an established company.
Work across: Newcastle, Central Coast, Hunter, Upper Hunter, Port Stephens & Greater Taree.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Licensed Electrician, you will be involved in a variety of residential electrical work, including:
- Electrical rough-ins and fit-offs for new homes
- Installation of lighting, power points, switches and fixtures
- Residential electrical installations and maintenance
- Troubleshooting and electrical repairs
- Data cabling and NBN installations
- Alarm system installations — experience is an advantage but not essential
- Reading and interpreting electrical plans and technical drawings
- Completing required paperwork and job documentation
- Working closely with our team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- Current White Card
- Proven domestic/residential electrical experience
- Current Australian driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
- Your own electrical tools
- Good knowledge of associated construction trades
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic and a reliable, punctual attitude
- Willingness to work overtime when required
