About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join us on a subcontractor basis. The successful applicant will be available for a minimum of two to three days per week and have demonstrated experience completing comprehensive Functional Capacity Assessments.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing comprehensive Functional Capacity Assessments and high-quality reports
- Conducting assessments and Occupational Therapy sessions in participants’ homes and community settings
- Providing practical, evidence-informed, and participant-centred interventions
- Developing recommendations relating to functional independence, daily living, assistive technology, home modifications, and environmental needs
- Liaising with participants, families, Support Coordinators, and other professionals
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and completing reports within agreed timeframes
- Delivering services in accordance with professional, ethical, and NDIS requirements
- Managing a flexible community-based caseload
This is a hybrid position combining community visits, home-based report writing, and remote collaboration with the team.

About You
To be considered, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience completing comprehensive Functional Capacity Assessments
- Strong clinical reasoning and professional report-writing skills
- Experience providing Occupational Therapy services in home and community settings
- A sound understanding of the NDIS and participant-centred practice
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a developing team
- Availability for a minimum of two to three days per week
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A current Working with Children Check
- A current National Police Check
- Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
- An active Australian Business Number (ABN)
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- At least two years of relevant Occupational Therapy experience preferred
- NDIS and community-based experience highly regarded
- Previous experience preparing comprehensive FCA reports is essential
