Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Specialised Plant Operator to operate our newly purchased Sennebogen Material Handler. The successful applicant will primarily operate the Sennebogen, with opportunities to operate other machinery including a 13-tonne excavator fitted with a harvesting attachment.

Duties:
As a Specialised Plant Operator, your responsibilities will be:
· Operate specialised plant and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
· Primarily operate a Sennebogen Material Handler
· Operate a 13-tonne excavator with harvesting attachment when required
· Conduct daily pre-start inspections and maintain equipment to a high standard
· Work closely with supervisors and field crews to deliver project outcomes
· Comply with all safety, environmental and client requirements
· Travel throughout NSW and undertake live-away work where required
· When not undertaking live-away work, you will report into our St Mary’s depot
Essential Requirements :
· Demonstrated experience operating heavy machinery.
· Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
· Construction White Card.
· Ability to travel and work away from home when required.
· Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Current HC Licence
Desirable:
· Unrestricted HC Licence or willing to obtain
· Experience operating Sennebogen equipment or similar specialised plant
· Experience operating excavators and harvesting attachments
· Cert II ESI - Powerline Vegetation Control (or equivalent) highly desirable
· Experience within the vegetation management, utilities, rail, civil or infrastructure industries
