About the Role
As the Nominated Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre while supporting the team to provide high-quality education and care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating and supporting a team of educators, including a dedicated Assistant Centre Manager and Educational Leader.
- Creating a positive, collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the centre in accordance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring the centre maintains high standards of compliance, health, safety and child protection.
- Supporting the team to meet and exceed the National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Building strong and lasting relationships with children, families and the local community.
- Developing community partnerships and supporting strategies to increase centre occupancy.
- Working towards centre business and financial targets.
- Mentoring and developing educators to support their professional growth.
- Working closely with the Centre Support team and Area Manager to achieve operational, compliance and educational goals.
About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and confident in a leadership role.
You will ideally have:
- A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, ECT qualification, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a centre management or leadership role is highly desirable.
- Previous experience as a Nominated Supervisor is preferred.
- A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards.
- Experience working towards compliance, safety and operational targets.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- A current First Aid Certificate, including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
