ABOUT THE ROLE
The Operations Team at Qudos Bank Arena (Soon to be Afterpay Arena) is responsible for all back-of-house elements that support the Arena’s successful delivery of events. Core duties include assembling stages, setting up seating, hanging curtains, installing stage barriers, preparing dressing rooms, and laying basketball or netball courts for concerts and sporting events. Full on-the-job training will be provided.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for people who:
- Are physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks
- Are punctual and dependable – the show must always go on
- Can follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Are available to work flexible hours, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends
- Have experience or a strong interest in the entertainment or sporting industry (desirable)
AVAILABILITY
Shift patterns vary based on the Arena’s event schedule. As a guide, we are looking for people with availability to work during the following timeframes:
- Weekdays between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm (minimum availability of 2 days per week preferred)
- Late-night shifts between 10:00 pm and 3:00 am (weekdays and weekends)
- Overnight shifts between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am (weekdays and weekends)
